Our Story
The Toy Rescue began with a simple idea: no good toy should be thrown away. We carefully select and restore previously loved toys so they look and feel like new. Each toy is cleaned with non-toxic methods, given a name and a thoughtful story, and made ready for adoption. Toys that are too worn for our shop are cleaned and donated directly to children’s programs where they can still offer comfort.
Many toys are still in excellent condition when they’re discarded, while children who could treasure them go without. We rescue these toys, refresh them safely, and return them to an almost new state. Adopting from us gives a toy a second chance and keeps it out of the landfill.
We collect toys through donations and careful thrifting. Each toy is cleaned, lightly repaired, and given a short story and name. You can adopt a toy through our shop, or sponsor one that we will donate to a child in need.

A portion of our toys are donated directly to children’s hospitals, foster programs, and shelters. Adoption fees also fund supplies so more toys can be restored and shared.
